² The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel, heads of their fathers’ houses. Tola’s sons were powerful soldiers among the people of their day. There were 22,600 of these men in the days of David. ³ The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Isshiah. All five of them were leaders. ⁴ With them by their families and by their fathers’ houses were 36,000 men ready to fight. For they had many wives and sons.
